With Spring upon us, the mosquitoes, flies, fleas, ticks, and other pestering insects are making their presence known. In fact, the National Pest Management Association has updated its Bug Barometer (Link) and their forecast is calling for an increase in mosquitoes, ants, ticks, and other insects across every region in the United States.

Because of this increased threat to our health due to illnesses caused by these insects (e.g. Lyme Disease, Powassan (POW), West Nile, and Zika Viruses, etc.), we at Simple Matters felt that it was important for us to create a non-toxic, all natural, and plant-based insect repellent that worked!
